I wasn't at the fair - wasn't really told about it till I had already arranged something for the day. I have seen it several times on the news, though, and it looks pretty bad. It could be due to the rain, but I'm not sure.

You got out alright? The news said there were countless injuries...

Yeah, I waas fine. I got lucky, pretty much. The main reason I thought it was the rain... it sounds weird, but it wasn't like I was really planning to go beforehand. I didn't even really know about it. I just sort of felt drawn there. It's not really something that's easy to put into words, I guess...

Drawn there? Now that you mention it, during the entire day I just couldn't stop thinking about it. Even when I was on a different train of thought. Perhaps it really is the rain.

Then again, it's true that a lot of weird stuff happens in this city, rain or no rain. I wonder if it was like this in the Old World, too. It could've been a coincidence, I guess.

You think? Maybe it was and no-one knew about it because the Old World was so much bigger. I mean, the government now don't even hardly acknowledge it. Yeah... it's difficult to say. It's hard to think of it as just a coincidence. I mean, ghosts and poltergeists, appearing completely by random in a public school? It's too weird not to mean something.

It's true, there's nothing about it in books anywhere, but... I know it wasn't. I have a resource on that. Even if it was a fair, which could easily attract ghosts and poltergeists, it seems a bit too well planned to be just that.
