What's the point of keeping these things, anyway? It seems pretty pointless. It's not like I'm interested in making friends on cyberspace or whatever, there's way more important stuff to do. And it's not like I ever kept a diary ( Read more... )

myspace, livejournal, asagi

Livejournal is... odd like that. It attracts people with no interest in it like you and me. But I never got the fascination with MySpace.

...Hi.

Like I said, I'm only here because my friend wouldn't stop whining at me to sign up. It looks... boring. This place looks at least a bit mroe interesting, I guess, although online chat really isn't my thing.

I'm Cagalli. Nice to meet you.

The same happened to me, he wouldn't stop bugging me about it and I did it just to shut him up. But I guess I use it moderately now. Not really me either...I hope you don't mind me commenting here. I'll stop if you want.

I'm Cloud, nice to meet you too I guess.

Maybe I'll end up enjoying it. I'm not joining that MySpace place, though. One of these things to maintain is enough. Oh, no, it's okay. ...wait, you're not trying to sleep with me, are you?

So, uh... what kind of stuff do you like?

(OOC: Cagalli was never a great conversationalist.)

Tell me about it... so many people mnust waste their lives on the net. ... um... no... uh... I don't think you'll ever have to worry about that.

Um... swords, bikes, martial arts, different kinds of rock music... can't really think about anything else off the top of my head. You?

(ooc: So much win, Ami. xD So much win.)

Yeah. I mean, it's fun to mess around on every now and then, but there are way more interesting things out there. Hey, what's that supposed to mean?!

I like music. Um... I did some martial arts training for awhile, but I'm better with guns.

I've lost a few schoolfriends to World of Warcraft over the years. It's sad. ...wait, I dind't mean it like that! I meant... ugh, I hate saying this, it sounds so stupid. I'm... gay, or whatever.

Sounds good. But you look young... what are you doing messing with guns?

Oh... I think Juri played that for awhile. It's a video game or something, isn't it? Oh. Why didn't you just say that in the first place? That would've totally been easier.

Well, how old are you? You're messing with swords and stuff, that's just as bad, right?

I prefer to think of it as a terrorist. ... it's hardly something you start a conversation with.

That's part of my job. I'm with Shin-Ra. What's your excuse?

You don't like video games? Yeah, but it would've made things more convenient. You should put it on your profile or something!

Ohh, that youth program, right? I'd heard about that. It sounds like fun. And hey, it's not like I need an excuse to defend myself!

Not really. I'll play with Zax sometimes when he wants. Uh... he's my housemate. No... I don't want random idiots online knowing things like that about me.

Maybe you should think about joining it? If you're into guns and hand-to-hand combat, and that's true... but guns are more for killing rather than defence.

I like virtual reality games, though. But I don't play them that much. Yeah, well, it'd save a lot of confusion, that's all I'm saying.

I couldn't join. It's complicated. I guess guns are more for killing, but that's what I was taught to use, so... besides, swords seem kind of impractical too, if you're talking day-to-day self-defence.

Oh, those ones at the arcade? They aren't so bad. I suppose...

Fair enough. I've never thought a sword impractical though... most people carry weapons these days so it's nothin unusual.

They're fun. I've never played one at an arcade, though.

Yeah, but how many people do you see carrying swords around?

Hm. Maybe I'll try one sometime.

... more than you'd think.

The flight simulation ones are pretty fun. They're just like military standard issue aircrafts, same controls and everything. ...apparently.

I guess so. It still seems weird, though. What a crappy time, when people have to carry around stuff like that just to feel safe.
