Well, looks like this place is about as exciting as it was when I left. Maybe even a step or two down, actually. You know, I don't know why I keep coming back. I guess in hopes that something will liven things up around here. Maybe next time I really should bring a deadly creature to set loose in the castle. Someone might not lose a limb this time.
Well, whatever. I've been doing pretty well on the outside, thanks for asking. I've got a nice little racket going on that I'm sure at least a few of the upstanding citizens here wouldn't approve of, but you know what, too bad. You should just be grateful I'm not bringing the operation here much. I've even got myself a bit of a reputation, it seems. Few people over in the islands have been calling the Grishend a ghost ship, so I dressed her up to fit the image, just for shits and giggles. Worked better than I expected, really, those idiots on that merchant ship were damn near pissing themselves. Are all sailors this stupid these days? Judging by the so-called pirates around here, I wouldn't be surprised. But whatever, I guess if the rune cannons are a no go, I gotta work with what I have. She looks pretty menacing in a fog, not that I'd want to steal a certain someone else's gimmick, but hey, at least my ship actually looks like a ship.
