So, as I mentioned earlier, December 7th went so much better then I could have ever hoped for. I had so many things due and was stressed up to my eyeballs, I thought it was going to be horrific, but it was really a great day :0)

Here's a few reasons why:
* I get to keep my kittens longer then originally planned. Judy wants them neutered at 12 weeks, instead of the 8 weeks that Rosie always insists on (my bosses) so I have an extra 4 weeks with them :0)

* I hung out with Tori after history class. She's only 17, but I have a good time talking with her. She and John and I are going to hang out after the final Tuesday, so yay for new friends (on the very last day of the semester...)

* My PAWS group got an A on our presentation!!!! I would put an infinity amount of exclamation points, because thats how freakin excited I am, but it makes for a lame post, so I wont.

* We went out for drinks afterwards, and our teacher even joined us, it was so much fun. We ended up at the race 'track' (a bar with tvs that shows the races) because we didnt realize Doug had a gambling problem.

Julie and I didnt bet anything, and we left, even though there were many protests. (2 chicks and 3 drunk men... so we were pretty popular) The guys got sooo drunk, I wasnt about to let them drive me back to my car, so I went back with Julie.

(I think Doug was ok enough to drive. I didnt see him drink more then 2 beers, so its not like I left them there) Sadly there were no strip clubs involved, but hey, it was still fun. And Dougs friend really had the hots for me. So it made me feel pretty good. (so what if hes drunk, its still flattering, right?)

* In creative writing class, the guys really approved of the changes I made, so I've got more to work with for my revisions...and.....

* Ricky told me that he's going to Las Vegas to produce an album for some pop star on the rise or some shit. Anyway, in the critique he sent me, he said that he knew the story would be good when he saw that I was the one who had written it :0) and now he wants me to co-write some lyrics on this album with him!

Even if it doesnt work out (im looking into legal rights because he mentioned that he'd swiped some of his ex's work and was using it) its still a HUGE compliment. So I'm pretty excited :0)

* I asked out Hot History Class Guy (who we're now going to call Steve McQueen, because its fun to say, and because its the name of the rat on House) and he seemed as excited as I am. Yay for me. Yay for taking the initiative :0) Now I get to sit around and wait for him to call....

Today:

* I did my first solo adoption, one of the cats whos been there since I started working got a fantastic home. I'm really proud of myself, I think I found an amazing match, and I'm so happy for the kitten, Luke. He's going to be so much happier now :0)

* I went in for my massage therapy, and I realized I hadnt really been in as much pain as usual. So I dont know if its the reiki or the muscle relaxers, but I'm feeling better (or at least I was until I slept on my neck wrong... now it hurts again) but at least theres hope

*Nathan showed me the trailer for Jim Carrey's new movie and it looks bloody BRILLIANT. I'm so excited.

*All of Baby Gray's tests came back negative. She is one (old) healthy cat!

*Aunt Lew gave the poem I wrote to mom, and she really loved it. She started to tell me what she thought when I was on the phone with her tonight, and I could hear her tearing up... she told me it was 'definitly something I have to pursue'

*The kittens get their shots next week, which means... *drumroll* I can introduce them to Toulouse and Gray!!!
Finally! We can all be one big happy family

So I am now less stressed, and much more happier. December 7th came and went and I'm still alive. (and I stuck to my 2 drink limit, go me!!) One more day of school, and then I'm free!!! Well, except for work... but still. Things are looking up :0)

...damn, how many happy faces did i put in this post? uh oh...I'm becoming one of THOSE people...urgh

kittens, ricky, paws, steve mcqueen, happy, friends, writing
