A woman came into PetSmart today, asking us to take kittens in. We get this a lot, so its not much of a shocker. But when we looked in the carrier at the kittens, we saw that they were hardly a month old. There was no way we could turn them away. So guess who's foster caring/eye dropper feeding 3 of the smallest, most adorable babies ever??? That's right, one look at them, and I turned to my boss and said "I'm taking them home, arent I?" and she just smiled.

The sad thing is that the woman who took them in didnt have the slightest clue what to do. Apparantly it happened last night, so she's had the kittens for nearly a day, and she just threw some dry food in the cage, but of course theyre too small to eat it, so they're starved and scared. One of them didnt stop shaking for hours...

Judy, my boss, warned me that theres a good chance they wont make it. But after I got them home and out of the carrier and moving around, I think theyre healthier then we originally believed them to be. So keep your fingers crossed. They need all the well wishes they can get.

We think theyre all little boys. I named them Loki, Eros, Narvi (I call him Narf, like Pinky and the Brain). (mythology characters) and I'm completely in love. I have them on a 2 hour feeding schedule, so I'm going to hate myself by the end of the weekend, but I'm hoping that if they can make it the next few days, they'll really be ok and I can change it to a 4 hour schedule.

Just wanted to share my joy! I've already taken a ton of pictures, and I'll take more as they get bigger, so I'll be sending them your way soon :0)

Funny story: I called aunt lew and left a message saying I had really exciting news, she called me back and immediately said "You're getting married!!!????" "um...no... I have KITTENS!!!" I thought it was more exciting, but apparantly its not...haha
