Happy new year or someshit.
People might be wondering where I've been/why I haven't been posting.
Short answer: It's pretty much the same thing every day, and that gets fucking boring quick.
Long answer: Aside from Dad being in the hospital, getting home for a week and going back into the hospital, the holidays, and a dear friend of the family dying, it has been the same, get up, go to work, come home, play video games, sleep, repeat ad infinitum.
Oh, and I guess there is the state Latin Convention I went to in November, which was very fun. It was also different being in charge of things and yelling at kids for doing the same shit I did or would have done back in the day, key difference being of course: I knew how not to get caught.
After the convention I stayed with my Aunt in Cincinnati for a couple of days, which was nice, it's the first time I'd seen her and my Uncle's (They've been married five years now and it's still fucking weird calling him my Uncle.) new house.
But that's the deal, right there; my boring ass life.
More into it though, I had quit WoW for around two months until my roommate started playing it again, I resisted at first. But like Don Corelene and mob, when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. So I'm playing this thing again and raiding three days a week. It is fun though and Ice Crown is actually enjoyable for the most part, Read: Jet packs.
Other video game news: Kenny got me The Witcher: Enhanced Edition for Christmas off of Steam. It is very enjoyable, especially being made by Pollocks. I have to love a game where within the first ten minutes after the tutorial area a dwarf tells me to "Fuck off." Oh, and then there's the fact that you can fuck practically anything with a vagina.
I picked up Dragon Age: Origins as well during the holiday sale, but I haven't cracked open that shit yet, I plan on it at some point, but there's too much going on, I need to beat The Witcher and finish up my second play through of the first Penny Arcade game. Also the fact that I picked up Borderlands to play with my group of friends (not my idea, but I'm a team player most of the time), oh and we started playing Everquest again.
Yes, you read that right, a game that consumed most of my teenage years (and soul for the most part) and turned me into the hate filled, but patient being I am today. But hey, it's the EQEmu, so it's free, and the server we found has around 200 people constantly on at all times, and it's up through LDoN, so it's good content, before the game got ruined completely by stupid shit, and they managed to get almost everything working, even one of the dungeons from LDoN. There's three of us playing together and we met a pretty cool dude we've been palling around with the last couple of days... It's been for a lack of a better word... Fun.
Oh, and to bowling people: Sorry, my Sundays are booked for the foreseeable future, we are playing DnD on those days.
Clarification: Dad got out of the hospital the second time after about a week and has been home since, he got to enjoy the holidays and his/mom's anniversary at home.
TLDR: Same shit, different day.
