Story time:
So lightning struck the transformer next to my house yesterday. From what Roija tells me, the power was off until like five minutes before I got home, so basically all day. I get home and fire up the comp, it comes up with no network, all of the computers in the house are like that.
Some investigating later, the router got fried and our cable modem. Get new ones of those and networking is working again, the computers still aren't seeing the hardware... Some driver reinstalls later and no dice.
Head to a guy I know, he's got parts laying around and gifts me with some network cards, I get back to the house and get Burzum and Roija up and running again. Then I get to my comp:
I took it with to my buddies, and it wasn't starting up there, I thought it was his place (hotter than balls) and took shit home and the comp came right back up. After all of the other dittering I start working on mine, I put the new network card in, boot up the system and the new hardware thing gets to work, then the fucking thing just shuts off and won't start back up. No BSoD, just turns off then powers off after a bit. No output to the monitor, nothing.
At this point I'm guessing the power supply got zapped or my mobo is toast.
Not sure when I'm gonna be back on.
TLDR: Comp is fuckered atm, be back asap.

Ordered a new motherboard, should be here around Tuesday, hopefully.
