Perspectives

If you've ever whined that cops don't care about people, only writing tickets, go read this.
If you've ever griped that EMTs don't try hard enough to save a life, go read this.
If you've ever complained about the wait in an Emergency Room, go read this.

Pass this on to EVERYBODY you know. Link them to this post if you don't want to repost the whole thing. I don't care how you do it, just get this 3 part story publicized far and wide. These three folks have been working on this for a couple of months.

After you read this, call your county government officials and local hospital administrations and tell them to give these folks a raise. They don't make NEARLY enough for this.
This should be required reading, especially to those with kids and for the kids too.

----------------------------------------

This is the text at the beginning of each part -

The following events are not fictional, but they may have happened at different times, with different people, at different places. Each one of the authors has had patients just like these, in situations just like those described. If you want to know what it's like to live a day in the life of a small town cop, or an ambulance driver, or a small town ER nurse, join us for the story.

It's the same story. On the same night. With the same people.

Perspectives - Part One - The Cop
Perspectives - Part Two - The Paramedic
Perspectives - Part Three - The ER Nurse
