Hello Live Journal, my oldest friend.
Happy 2013. I've learned a lot this year. More importantly though, I want to start writing letters to people in flowery language. I think it's school cool. In "The Garden of the Beast" I'm learned all this History that is dressed in the polite language of the time, and I'm all "HOLY SHIT NOBODY TALKS LIKE THAT ANYMORE AND THAT WAS ONLY 70 YEARS AGO AND MY GRANDMOTHER WAS 14 WHEN THE EVENTS IN THIS BOOK ACTUALLY HAPPENED AND SHE IS STILL ALIVE AND THAT FUCKING AMAZES ME BECAUSE THE WORLD IN THIS BOOK IS SO DIFFERENT BUT INCREDIBLY SIMILAR AND I GUESS THAT IS JUST HUMAN NATURE."
I miss Kentucky so much. Whoever promises to drive me down route 8 first wins.
I have so much to share, but as I have learned over the course of this year, I really am much better at sharing verbally as opposed to through my typing prowess (LOLRITE).

I'm gonna stop the list with my grandmother, because i want to gush. she is seriously one of, if not, the most amazing women (woman) I have ever met. She is really a brilliant brilliant person. She has the grace of one-thousand years living, but still holds the innocence of a child. She can seamlessly switch between these two personas as needed for the circumstances, and doesn't even realize it. If there is anything I hope to be in my life, it's my grandmother.
So yeah, 2013, I'm ready, lets go.
