"and she just dropped dead...right there"
so my co-worker went to mexico with her husband to visit friends who own a house there....well the friends had invited a single friend (woman age 57) to stay for a bit while jan and her husband were there. So the couples and single friend enjoyed themselves for a few days and the single friend hadn't been feeling great (chronic lung problems) but was all in all ok....sunday rolls around and they all go into the city for breakfast and shopping...Single woman had been complaining of bad heartburn in the morning but said it was ok to continue on with days events...eventually they all go home and get settled back in the woman changes clothes and goes the kitchen sink to get a glass of water and take her pills...and she just froze and dropped to the floor....they called for an ambulance and did cpr in the mean time but it was no use, the cardiologist at the hospital said the woman died of cardiac arrest before she even hit the floor...
what a wierd story...
wierder part is...jan has been back to work for a week and we have all inquired about her trip and she would reply with a cheerful "ohh good..fun,relaxing!" and just today she told us about this woman dropping dead in the kitchen while she was 2 ft away.
