Life in a nutshell.
Work: still striving for making it all perfect but accepting that it isn't always (or ever) going to happen.
Weekend in Canberra: Fantastic. I will probably never understand why when its his birthday I'm the one who gets spoiled, but I sure as hell enjoyed!!! Benchmark rocks - it pays to tell the owner/manager your there for a birthday. Answering the phone to be called 'darling' is a little startling though.
Trip back to Cooma: Overall good. Food was great - Breadbo pizza is gooooooood if a little price-y. The company was great. Didn't quite understand the meaning of 'storm' when applied to Cooma until we drove through the town - the construction site for the new monstrosity is little more than a muddy pool and the roads are covered in dirt and branches. And some places got flooded. I'm kinda glad we live on a hill. Oh, and have discovered yet again that men in general and some men in my life in particular are strange.
Next week: back to uni. I'm missing o-week. But since I'm being paid I can't really complain (too much anyways). Swapping programs is a b*tch though. I thought the change was supposed to happen half way through the year, but I seem to be in two at once. Scary! I'm trying to find out how disasterous my timetable is going to be but the page just will not load! Ugh.
