the briefest of brief updates, complete with pictures to distract you from the fact that it's barely an update...

my cousin Kelly sent me and Mark an early wedding present...i finally made my first loaves of bread
(challah with raisins & cinnamon-sugar) outside of working at Hi-Rise. Kitchen Aids are so awesome!
it's been busy in the flower shop these days, with wedding season in full swing, we have at least one wedding every weekend to prepare for. i don't have any pictures of that, but you can see a picture of a mother's day bouquet i made a while back
most recently, I surprised Mark with a visit from his best friend (& best man), Justin, who lives out in Oregon. we set it up so that I took Mark out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, and Justin & his girlfriend Isabel popped out of nowhere to sit with us. then we took it a step further and pulled together a bunch of Mark's friends from work and we took Mark out to a drag show, which was great fun.
