Maybe one reason woo-believers bug me is cause it sorta implies to me that they have failed to fully appreciate the power with which your own mind is capable of deluding you.
I'm not against woo stuff in principle, its just that I have super strong weight on a world where people's brains can make them experience insane shit, and whenever insane shit goes down it's gotta be a special case to get over the 'brains are powerful' hump.
As a christian I occasionally experienced insane miracles that made my whole body shiver with goosebumps and I knew to my core this is proof of god's existence. If anyone else could experience this, they would know Him.
