It's Final
Well, I sort of expected it, but I still feel sad about it. David Odonkor is leaving us, and with us I mean Borussia Dortmund. He's going to play for Betis Sevilla from now on.
I can understand why he's leaving. He's been benched more often than not, and now that we have Tinga, he simply didn't have much choice but leave. Which is sad. I mean, David's been with us for how long? Since he was 13? 14? Something like that. And I really want to know why my club thinks we can do without David. But apparently, they do, considering his time on the bench and now his transfer.
H-anyways, good luck, David! I'll certainly miss you, and maybe, in five years, when it's time to re-new your contract or leave Betis, you'll remember where you came from and come back to us.
On a different note, there's been this on-going rumour about Metze possibly needing to end his career due to his surgery on Thursday. Outter meniscus, possibly a tendon as well. I had this surgery during my pro time in volleyball. Everyone knows how fickle and sensitive we volleyballers are with our knees. I was up and about in *tries to remember* six weeks, and continued playing. So, don't give up on him yet. Send him some good vibes instead :)
