i love shopping online. I just bought a great progressive scan dvd player with VCD support for 60 bucks, no tax and free shipping. I had no intention of actually getting one but i saw it while i was pricing and figured what the hell.

This means i am now going to move my surround speakers on loan to my parents in the living room back into my room so the 8 in. woofer is right at the foot of my bed, cause i haven't indulged in geek pleasures for like 6 months. To clarify geek pleasures this will mean i'll have two surround sound sets in my tiny ass bedroom. One centered around the bed in front of the tv, and the other centered around the recliner in front of the computer. Mike if only you were in san diego still so i could sample you undoubtedly massive dvd collection.

side note - amazon.com is fucking scary, when i went back to it to see if i could check my order i notice a tab at the top that said "Kevin's Store". I clicked it and it came up saying we have recommendations for you and under "The page you made" section (i of course did no such thing, nor did i enter any preferences when i made my account to place the order) it listed this netgear wireless networking PC card that i was looking for like a fucking month ago. Somehow the site new what i had looked at, but i had deleted all my cookies like last week. Did it like save my IP or something? WTF?
