The Fairy Store

So, I went to 'The Woods'...

It's a store here in one of the local malls. Always an experiance going there. The store itself has no discernable walls. I assume that somewhere behind the underbrush there are walls, but I couldn't tell where. It was just like being in the forest (complete with river running through it) I was greeted soon after entering by a saleswoman in full renfaire style outfit (plus elf ears). She spoke with my mother for a while... They don't try to sell things there, the salespeople are just there for... atmosphere. At one point my mother mentioned that she felt old where she worked and the sales woman commented without batting a lash that "I love the forest, because I'm the youngest one here, 294." It was fun... In a few days I should be recieving my birthday card from them in the mail, it's carved into a plank of wood, they mail them out near your B-day and if you bring it with you to the store on your birthday you get some free stuff.

There was a nice sign there, "Unattended children will be sold as garden gnomes, they will be sold quickly, and very cheep with no documentation. So keep your children with you." with a sign nearby reading "Garden Gnomes for sale, ask any of the residents if interested!"

They have no shelves at the store either, all they sell are small figurines and cute little stuff that you can find... if you can find it. It's hidden between the leaves, the branches, etc. I found the cutest little family of fairies behind a small tree there, but too expensive. Wonderful to visit...

One pet peeve though, they had a bridge over the river... but no troll in sight... very dissapointing.
