I feel kind of bad.
My aunt annie passed away in december of 06. She was a dear lady. I used to be close to her. Then my grandpa died, I moved to kansas, and I never really spoke with her. She lives in this huge three story manson in Old Webster Groves. It's packed with stuff. PACKED.
So tonight, Erika Jon and I went over there to see if we needed/wanted anything.
I hit jackpot.
9th edition, Grapes of Wrath, priced between $500-$800 on ebay.
China Set, 1950, made in england, $35 per PIECE (I have aprox 20 pieces)
5th Edition Black Beauty/Pride and the Prejudice/Sherlock Holmes, priced at $200 per book
Two 1st edition Tennyson Poetry books from 1880, $500 a piece
At first I thought about putting them up. Then I decided that these are classics. These books need to be held on too.
I do feel bad because I required this and other books and posters for $55 all together.
I don't think annie's daughter (my 2nd cousin) understands their worth. And I got them dirt cheap.
