The Move is over
I am finally all moved into my apartment. I had no clue as to how much crap I really had. I mean it took me like 2 or 3 trips to get it all up.
Well lets see...
We had the cable installed yesterday and I have digital cable!!! It is so cool. I have never had that before. Amanda and I have the package with internet and cable and it's only like 50 bucks a month and we split it. So essentally it only is 25 dollars a month. I know I'm a dork for getting all excited over cable, but it is soooo cool.
Hopefully the maintence guy will come and fininsh my room. My closet has no bar or brackets in it and I don't have any towel bars or toliet paper holder in my bathroom. I can't stand haveing such a messy room but becuase of those things missing I can't put anything away.
Oh and I am soooo pissed at JJC. They completly screwed my grade up. They gave me an incomplete for the fitness center. So I had to go there and get it all straightened out. However, now it's gonna take longer for my graduation stuff to go through. I need to have it done before Monday. NIU has already sent a card lookig for them. I really hate JJC. I'm so glad I never have to go back there ever again!!!!!!!!!!!
Other than that, I have been doing nothin. I got a job at school which I was really happy about. Im working in the Grant Towers Dining Hall as a server or a food preper. They haven't told me my schedule or what I will be doing yet, but I do know I'm making 6.80 an hour. Not bad for an on campus job. I have to still give my manager my class schedule. She is really nice. Her name is Mary and she's a student too so I'm hoping she will be understanding about stuff. Well I guess that's it for me. Summer went by way too fast for me, but I am ready for school to begin. When it does I"ll be sure to write about it in here to let you all know how my first day went.
