Heh. Took the pictures, then went immediately to bed. Then, woke up, went to work, was busybusybusy all day, came home...and computer wouldn't work. Nearly 24 hours later, I give you...YOUR JANUARY 2009 12 OF 12.
8:59 a.m. Leaving for work, taking a picture of the naked Christmas tree.
9:51 a.m. In my NEW new office (the third in this company), I hung up a few of my favorite covers from my former magazine -- which reminds me of another story that I'll have to tell later -- they all fell down and went boom over the weekend. They keep the back portion of the building much hotter than where I used to sit.
10:20 a.m. My color-coded calendar, hanging on the bulletin board in my NEW new office. Yeah, I'm a little busy these days...
10:40 a.m. There's not enough -- for lack of a better word -- counter space in my NEW new office, so one of my lovely lamps is on an overturned box on the floor for the moment.
1:57 p.m. Ugh. One of my least favorite sights -- the follow-up flag.
3:31 p.m. The new iPod! But in the old (now ill-fitting) case...I need to take care of that.
5:14 p.m. The daily bounty of products I unpacked yesterday. Let me tell you, publicists do not know how to pack or tape up boxes. Well, they don't know how to do MANY things, but those are just a few of them.
6:31 p.m. I had to take something back to the art department, where all the lights were off. This flash was the only illumination in the room.
7:32 p.m. Stopping at the ATM.
8:29 p.m. My poorly lit Cobb salad.
10:32 p.m. A new placard on our table at trivia.
11:06 p.m. Aaaaand this is what one O'Brien's placemat looks like after one trivia night. Scratch paper FTW.
Wow, my day was pretty boring. *g* So instead, here's me run through the
