What to write?

Prompt claiming has commenced at lgbtfest, and I have to say, I'm pretty torn. I definitely don't think I'll write HP this time around, but what to choose in its stead? There are a ton of Torchwood prompts that look like fun, of course, but there are some others I'm leaning toward that are...fairly random. Heh. So what should I write? Pretty in Pink? Ender's Game? A long diatribe on gender in the style of the Hitchhiker's Guide? Maybe I'll wait a few days and see what's left.

Also, would anyone be willing to beta for any of the above assorted fandoms?
