Some Watson art and other things
A few things I wanted to share:
• There is now a Russian translation for Under Control, translated by lokma and posted here. It's the first Sherlock fic I've had translated, and it makes me silly happy to think about my stuff being read on the other side of the world.
• I have my tickets to see The Hobbit on Thursday at midnight, you guys! 'Excited' is such an understatement. And since I'm fully aware I might be overhyping this to myself, and the actual movie may not be as great as the buildup, I'm letting myself simply SOAK in the anticipation. I really don't know what it is about Martin Freeman as a person or an actor, but there's something in all of his roles that I just connect with instantly and I think it's going to be marvelous to see what he brings to Bilbo. And yes, it's awesome that Benedict is involved as well, but I won't lie, my heart goes out to Martin.
• And on that note, here is some John Watson fanart, inspired by his SUPER SERIOUS expression in the Hobbit posters. Rated G, totally safe for work.
• Finally, just an FYI that I've stepped away from fandom for a bit, so you won't see me commenting or reading as much. My fandom activity tends to come in waves. But I'm always around if anyone wants to shoot me a message. :)
