Dear Law & Order: SVU,
You used to be my favorite Law & Order. But why, why, do you consistently demonize and other-ize kinky people when you try to be informed and fair minded about everyone else? WHY?
I'm sitting in my room as my roommate watches the 50 Shades Of Grey inspired episode, because I don't want to see:
1. Haughty comments about how strange other people are in bed
2. Kinky sex presented as more dangerous than vanilla sex
3. Visit to a totally unrealistic sex club where everyone is totally unrealistic
3a. Any notion of a seedy, kinky underworld
4. People doing BDSM without knowing how
If someone watches this show, let me know which of these crimes, and others, they perpetrate. I can't bear to watch.
