New Year Ruined
My mom would always tell me to try to achieve good things on the first day of New Year's so that the rest of the year will have good luck in it as well.
So the day started off well. I got off work in the morning without any problems. Then Taylor called me to tell me that I have to write a letter saying I will live with him and Gouge so we can turn it into first sergeant of HS company to get approved for BAH. Okay, cool, things sound good because every one is struggling to get BAH. Then I start driving to get mail from my P.O. Box because I am looking forward to a game I am getting the mail. Even though they are small pieces of luckiness, things seem bright and stress-free, for once in a long time.
The game wasn't in the mail. There was some other packages, but for some reason I wasn't too thrilled about getting them. I actually forgot about them. Then I start driving back to my room. Taylor calls me and tells me we're not getting BAH. Our old sergeant major would not approve it and said it had to be done through our chain of command. We knew First Sergeant Shaw wouldn't approve it. Instead he'd rather have three NCOs live in one room, even though we rate to have our own room. Then I came back to the acting company gunny, who is a reservist air winger, waiting outside of the barracks. He had us get into a formation to tell us we had to empty all of our furniture and clean our rooms. The new furniture wouldn't arrive until Monday, so all our personal items are just going to lay around every where. Then I get onto my computer and the internet doesn't work. Instead of Facebook loading, I get a message saying my internet has been suspended for illegal downloading.
Well obviously I got my internet fixed. I'm on strike one of three. Now I wish I didn't delete all my downloads so I can resume them.
