Ahhhhhh, I think words can't describe how much I love this fic. I was grinning throughout reading this fic. One of the things I love most about Sasuke and Sakura is they can be placed into any situations and still maintain that quality about them and still have this aspect about their relationship that's similar to their canon relationship, they have so much potential, and your fic illustrated that point about how much I love SasuSaku.

And a high school fic too! That's one of my old favourite SS AUs. You handled the characters so well too I think. I loved how you didn't make Sasuke so irresistibly cool, grabbing the role of the president by default (like how canon and sometimes fandom portrays him to be so effortlessly perfect) because well, Sasuke isn't all that perfect, and in such a situation, I can envision him being sort of like how he'd be like in your fic, it's a great capture of Sasuke's personality. And Sakura, gah, I love Sakura as well :) Her anxiousness, her eagerness, her "excessive" personality and the gentleness underneath all that energy. That kiss was sweet :')

I initially wanted to paste down all the scenes I loved, but I think I ended up copying one scene after another over each other. ♥ Lovely work Shelby. And thanks so so much for dedicating it to me. It's such an honour (hugs) ♥

Wow, what amazing compliments. Thank you SO much - it means a lot to me ♥ It makes me feel great to know that I write SasuSaku believably and realistically, paralleling their canon relationship. :)

Me too! I really love school AUs, as long as they're well done. Haha, I'm happy you actually liked how I wrote Sasuke as popular but not insanely popular - after all, he's portrayed in canon as extremely polarizing, so to me, in a setting as difficult as high school I imagined many girls would really be fascinated by him, but many boys would not care for him at all :'D

Sakura was definitely my favorite part about the entire story. I imagined her as a little bit Haruhi Suzumiya, LOL, but not as crazy 8D I definitely think she and Sasuke can even be friends in the first place simply because she's like this - I just exaggerated her canon qualities to make her more forceful and take-charge, because she can get easily into things when she wants to. Oh, I'm glad you liked the kiss scene too. Maybe it was too sugary, but I do appreciate happier endings X)

Awww, thank you again Sam ♥ It makes me thrilled to know you liked my fic so much! It was no problem at all. (hugs back)

Your welcome hun, I'm just saying how I honestly feel about your works :') ♥ Which is getting even more fantastic.

Sasuke as popular but not insanely popular - after all, he's portrayed in canon as extremely polarizing, so to me, in a setting as difficult as high school I imagined many girls would really be fascinated by him, but many boys would not care for him at all - I agree SO much with this! I think this is how the guys feel in the actual anime! Well, except for Naruto

And I do think she'd come across as more forceful and take charge when she's well...more comfortable with herself and not trying to make a good impression in-front of people (not that it's a bad thing to do; because well most people do want to make a good impression and tend to "tone" themselves down)! I don't think the kiss was too sugary at all, it felt appropriate! That's what I like most about it.

I actually think SasuSaku would fare so great in a high school universe as well, which is why I got so excited seeing the Konoha Gakuen ending, I can only wish Kishimoto would at least consider the idea of doing a high school version of Naruto LOL But that'd be like asking for rain in a drought.

I'm glad to know my work has been getting better! :) And of course, how could I forget Naruto...the only boy in the ninjaverse with such a, ahem, rather suspiciousdevotion to Sauce. LOL.

Definitely. Sakura seems like the kind of girl who'd force herself to put on an act of nonchalance or politeness, but beneath it probably really struggle not to give her opinion or take charge, haha. I like that about her. I think that's the hugest difference between Sakura and say, someone like Ino. Ino is way more outgoing with her true personality, whereas Sakura can be more discreet until, as you said, she's more comfortable showing who she is. That's totally one of the reasons I like her so much! :D

You are totally right. I think the fandom would rejoice if Kishi did something as cool as a short high school-AU version of Naruto. The Gakuen ending is one of my favorites too. And with the way the regular story's been going (as in, lack of Sasuke, general morbidness, foreshadowing of angsty ending) we deserve it! Hahaha.

LOL. His suspicious relationship with Sasuke HAHA. Which is why some people consider SasuNaru canon as well, which I have a lot to argue about, but you know everybody has their own OTP so I won't complain because I'd hate for them to poke holes in my beloved OTP :')

It's the one aspect of her character (out of many!) that I find so realistic and that I can somewhat relate to. I love Ino as well, and the differences between Sakura and her which makes their friendship so interesting :)

YEAH we definitely deserve a high school spinoff Naruto. I've always dream that when Naruto finally finishes, Kishi would get too attached to a character and come up with some high school shonen manga about it. Because I'd love to see some of the characters in high school LOL fangirl fantasy.

What's funny is that SasuSaku is my absolute all-time favorite, but I also like Naruto/Sasuke a little. In that order 8D Since Naruto is way more into Sasuke than Sasuke's into him, hahaha. I know it's not canon, but oh well. It grew on me. Stupid Kishi with his stupid implications to a possible one-sided romance X'D But yeah, anyway, I actually do not like SasuNaru at all. It's really popular, always has been, but I don't like how the pairing seems to make them totally OOC, especially Naruto.

*Sigh*, if only Kishi could wake up and see that when he starts these sorts of things, he just has to finish them. Don't tempt is with the Gakuen ending and expect all the fangirls to forget about how spectacular a spin-off would be, yeah? 8'D Haha. If only. I mean, I think that ending was what inspired that popular Deviantart comic Konoha High School, right? Imagine how amazing it would be to have an official spin-off...I know he'd probably pick Sasuke as the main character too. There's a joke in the fandom sometimes that Kishi is waaay too into Sasuke. And maybe that's right. Who knows. LOL.
