Right! This isn't the character I'm apping, BTW, he would be easier. He's already partially organic.
No, what I'm thinking about apping would be a character from the G1 series of Transformers, or the one from the 80s that was an over-glorified toy commercial.
The G1 Autobots aren't organic, but they do have zombies. Multiple occurrences thereof, actually. My question is, how much of him would have to change to be compatible with the zombies you have? From what I can tell, they are magic zombies? I think? Would the fact that there are zombie that affect his species affect anything or no?
If he were turned partially organic, how would that affect his stature/transforming ability/subspace access?
His transformation ability is linked to the subspace ability, he has access to a lower 'pocket dimension' that grants him the ability to swap bits for others across the dimensions. (Hence solving the eternal 'but where is the trailer?' question.) I didn't notice anything about powers in the rules or FAQ, but I might have missed it.
As for his height, would be be restricted to the 9 feet limit that I noticed that you had for the humaniods transformation?
Sorry for the wait on this. I had a couple very busy days at work. :)
I'll go through each question one by one as I was a little confused by your phrasing for them.
1. If it's already partially organic that's great! I would need to know 'how much' organic in order to determine if he needed to change at all or could come as is. Characters need to be organic enough to be able to die and come back as zombies that can lose limbs and ears and things.
2. As long as the character is canon material from a series, even if he/she/it is not highly developed background-wise, you can app them. They're considered 'canon OCs' and you would have to fill out the application form accordingly.
3. I'm afraid I have no idea if Rotting's zombies would be 'compatible' with the canon's zombies unless you link me to some sort of wiki or describe them for me.
4. As you said he's already organic...but I'm not sure how much, I couldn't say if he would need to be more organic - as for if it would effect his powers and abilities, that's up to you, the player. Characters are always allowed to keep their powers at full strength unless they are earth-shattering in potential at all times.
5. From the FAQ: "Characters get to keep their powers for the most part. It's important in the app that you describe your character's supernatural abilities to the fullest to avoid WTF moments from the mods later. Some extreme abilities may be dampened upon arrival through the gate - we'll let you know when we respond to your app. If abilities are dampened that does not mean some arrangement can't be made for 'unlocking' them specially for player events or mod events."
6. He would be limited to the 9 foot height, yes. However I would be willing to allow him to still transform to the full size of whatever his vehicle/animal/whatever form is.
Just get back to me on the follow-up questions and I'll try to clarify as much as I can! :)

...I think that's all. Maybe.

I mostly just don't want to deal with the PB hunt, but if it's simplest just to turn him human, then I'll go with that option?
