State of mind: from darkness to light

Dear LJ friends,

It's been about 1 year and a half since my last post in my LJ. A few days ago I came back here to visit my friends pages and I realized how much it hasn't changed a bit, it was like time travelling. Some friends still have the same user icon, although they are regular users.

I spend many minutes each day on Facebook. It's like going to a café between during my breaks, and there I can have news from friends and family members who live on the other side of the ocean. This is where I get most of the news also. But unlike a blog, it lacks some kind of intimacy to it, some poetry. It just goes so fast!

For a few days now I told myself I was going to come back to LJ more often, and today I had the idea to come here because I needed to talk and my personal paper journal would not be enough.

There is a lot on my mind, about humanity heading to a turn. I'm convinced that we're going to change very fast in the coming years and even in the coming months, but it's hard not to feel overwhelmed.

The trigger today was reading that Harper and Canadian ministers were going to Stampede in Calgary with the Royal couple... All this Canadian visit event is making me so sad, because it's so not clear why they are coming to visit Canada and I have a few ideas that are not very clear (power over Canada), but when I learn from Leuren Moret, a geophysicist and Nuclear Power whistleblower, that the Queen of England is the richest person on Earth, the biggest landowner owning a lot of nuclear facilities and clearly controlling the industry, among other things, I'm really sorry for all those who don't know and just think Kate is such a beautiful princess (and yes, she is beautiful).

There's SO MUCH we don't know! There's SO MUCH more I could say but it's SO depressing. In my Facebook, I decided to post only good news, and I'm glad I've been able to do so for some time now.

It is high time that people start to look on the other side of the mirror, but if it's very dark in there. That's why I could say that there's two ways to enlighten us: get more and more details about the dark in order to bring it to light OR bring more and more light in order to make the dark disappear.

Because it would be best if people never needed to know how deep the rabbit hole is...

Maybe and possibly we only need to have a portion of humanity made fully aware in order to save us. Maybe and possibly the light has already won anyway, whatever happens, and we just need to be confident about the future. I think it is so, and I think we also need only to light a small light inside every human being. This can be just a spark of consciousness, enough to illuminate us all from the inside.

Sparks of consciousness:
- being aware of the chain of consumption choice - if I choose to consume that product, how was it made? Did people or animals or ecosystems suffer so I can be able to consume it? What's it's real hidden price?
- my friends, my siblings are important and close to my heart, but all humans are part of the same family - for shamans, we are one family with all creatures and all nature - and everyone can become a shaman
- becoming responsible of one's own health - everyone has naturally all what's necessary to be fully healthy, and everyone has the right to decide for his/her health
- being able to limit information entries from mass medias, limiting TV watching and bad news reading
- being aware of what we think and at first, just observing what's happening in our head; after, we can try to improve the quality of our inner radio, by having more positive and creative thoughts

These are some ideas, I'm sure you can come up with more ideas for "sparks of consciousness".

I hope you have a nice Summer and that you keep dreaming of the world you want to live in, and you're going to dream out loud :-)

Julie
