I was so expecting something terrible to happen when they were all so happy and chummy when they were towing the Earth (lol! How great was that?) because it's obvious that Russell T Davies has learnt from the Whedon school of TV writing that as soon as people are happy you have to kill some of them (Torchwood series 2, anyone?). I expected them to kill Donna so it didn't upset me much until her awesome grandad was nearly in tears and then I did cry.
I can't believe I actually squealed and screamed "OMG, NOW THEY CAN GET MARRIED AND HAVE LOTS OF BABIES!!" in front of my parents and my aunt and uncle who now think I'm insane. Correction, who now know I'm insane. At first I thought 'no, that's wrong; he's not the proper Doctor!' but then when he whispered that he loved her when the real Doctor couldn't bring himself to... it's just perfect!
And omg Martha and Mickey are so gonna join Torchwood! That was so unsubtle! I was kind of hoping they'd go for at least one new character but I like them so it's ok :) I love Martha, anyway! There wasn't nearly enough of Gwen and Ianto in this episode but the reference to Gwen being a descendant of Gwynneth was awesome! And Donna trying to get Jack to hug her! Hee, that was brilliant.
Oh, oh! and the German Daleks!! That was genius!
Ok, that's all I can think to say right now!
In conclusion... awesome.
