the shopping down here is absolutely fabulous. I got a silk betsy johnson dress for 35 dollars two days ago. Kristen, Christina and I shopped for 7 hours yesterday. And I now officially love Wal-Mart. I understand why many people in the south and beyond flock to Wal-Mart. Our local grocer overcharges for their goods because Katrina has kept New Orleans from being fully supplied. The A &P charged over 7 dollars for a small bottle of detergent, $3.50 for a bag of spinach, etc...whereas Wal-Mart, well you know the deal. When someone down here is earning the $5.15 minimum wage, 7 bucks for detergent is a lot to ask for. AND when you're a starving student with a shopping problem, Wal-Mart will save your ass.

I REALLY want a pair of Valentino shoes I saw at the store where I got my dress. Oh man. I want.
