Yayyyyyyyyy! My virus has gone! I have internet and writing back. Was very worried (ok, distraught) thinking that I had lost all of my writing but it is now safe in my backup file.
I also haven't updated in ages and have loads of new photos!
This is me wearing Amore de Mori accessories- photographed by Catherine Day (look- you have a tag AND a title!) ;o)
The shoot was hampered by my train being nearly two hours late but I love the way this picture turned out. Big thanks to
miffyhorrorshow for lending me the hair accessory.
Anyway, the Xpo weekend (under cut)
Thursday
I went down to London in the morning to shoot with Stephen Thorne, who was visiting from Canada. The hotel room was just around the corner from the British Museum and was decorated in white and burgundy- which went with the corset/stockings outfit I brought. We shot some nudes and and the corset, and then went to shoot in.......
The NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM!!! (aka one of my favourite places ever)-
the architecture is gorgeous and it's full of interesting things and mechanical dinosaurs. We got a few funny looks especially from tourists and kids on school trips!
At the moment, I've only seen one picture as Mr Thorne's computer also has a virus and I'm praying that he hasn't lost all his work too but I have uploaded the first pic to my website (under art-nude) as my flickr isn't working.
I then headed to the Fetishistas party in Bethnal Green and drank cocktails and cranberry juice, and ate chocolates. It was great to see everyone- I get a bit sad coming to London and seeing all the people I miss and then having to go home not knowing when I'll be back.
:( Anyway, it was a good night.
Friday
I got up horribly early and went to the Barbican for the Xpo presscall. I represented Rubber55- then got ready for the catwalk shows, which were hectic but great fun! I modelled a lilac and black catsuit from
Libidex's new polka-dot latex range and then a gorgeous nurse outfit from
Rubber55, then had a photoshoot with Gothic Image.
By the end of the day, I wanted to eat a mountain and then sleep forever (!) so I went out for dinner with my two best friends from London and then went to sleep.
Saturday
Had a lie-in and then met Tom at the Xpo. Didn't have much of a chance to chat to people as I was too busy running around like a mad thing but I did buy a new pair of boots and the shows went really well. (I don't know why, but I get far more nervous about shows when I know there's someone I know watching!)
Afterwards, I went out with Tom and two of our friends who we hadn't seen in ages. I really wanted to go to Torture Garden but had no money- I'll be going for the Hallowe'en Ball though.
I met some great people- Sammm Agnew was infamous as usual, Sophie (LJ hurtmeso) is multi-talented and lovely, Lucie managed to keep both calm and gorgeous during wardrobe crises, Emma Bagwell and Strawberry Kiss- love you both! Sister Sinister is beautiful, Sohuii is both cute and very friendly (despite nipple-related accidents), Andromeda X had her first catwalk show and was fantastic, and many thanks to Simon Libidex and Karen Rubber55 for lending me beautiful clothes.
I can't wait to see the Xpo photos! :)
I also have many new shoots planned- I am now the proud owner of the Rubber55 nurse outfit with prettyful accessories...
Until then, here's me in a dress from Libidex. The photo is by Matt Frederick.
I think I look a bit like The Phoenix (X-men)!
