Geek Girl Navigates Muppets Most Wanted
The Muppets present a very specific type of humor. It's one that I have grown to appreciate as I get older. There's acknowledgment that there are a wide variety of ages sitting in the audience, therefore, the jokes play on several levels.
"Muppets Most Wanted" reminds me more of the original "Muppet Movie" more than any of the Muppet movies between. That's a fantastic thing. From the surprising celebrity cameos to the sly jokes clearly meant to go over kids' heads, "Muppets Most Wanted" is both fun and funny, and we definitely need more of that.
