Geek Girl Navigates "Killer Women"
I wanted to give "Killer Women" a chance, despite ads that I thought were pretty blatantly exploitative. As it turns out, I'm sorry that I did.
"Killer Women" is full of cliches and attempts to justify crimes because they were committed by women. Instead of allowing for the possibility that women can be bad all on their own and are fully capable of being evil just as well as any man, I watched two hours of making sure that the audience understands women are victims, no matter what.
