The spate of swearing would break the internet filters of everything
So, I've been without internet for the last two days. Why? Because Thursday night the connection went out, so I fiddled with the router and modem a little and then, when that didn't work, I called our internet provider...and discovered that I had been giving bill money to one of my roommates...and she wasn't paying the bill.
She let it get up to nearly $800 and most of that? She was charging stuff on Pay-per-view, then not paying for it.
It takes a lot to really make me angry. I thought my eardrums were going to explode from the rise of blood pressure I experienced. Furious doesn't even begin to cover it.
You canNOT hope to ever make it as a writer these days without an internet connection. This is not only how you find jobs, it's how you submit pieces for publication. In many instances, it's also how you get paid.
I'm definitely very ticked. She lied multiple times to me and to my other roommate. Also? I wasn't getting internet that I had paid for because someone else (who is older than me and should therefore have her head pulled out) just didn't bother. You know, there are people I've cut out of my life because of crap like this.
