Does anyone know the signs of Frustrated Writers' Syndrome?

Looking for 32 gauge dark annealed wire yields more results than trying to find just 32 gauge wire on its own, which mostly yields nickel chromium wires that won't serve my purposes properly. There will not, however, be any instant gratification on the wire front. I'm certainly going to have to order it.

I got the news back on the novella, and the publisher that I submitted it to doesn't want it. I suspect this has more to do with them wanting something a whole lot "spicier" than what I wrote than with the actual project itself. I know that I write stuff that people like, it's just getting it to the appropriate people so it can be accepted for publication so that it will get out there to more people who will like it. Oh well, I'll keep plugging on. After all, I already have the next piece ready to go for submission to someone else. Eventually, someone is going to say yes. I just have to keep sticking with this.

There are a few ideas floating around my head that I'm not entirely sure are actually feasible. One of them involves a shiny collection of very cool brocade dragon shirts and possibly turning them into a quilt, since they're pretty and I'd like to show them off somehow, but I don't really want to wear them to work because it'll just snag the crap out of them and...honestly...there are quite a few of them. Essentially, what happened was that my family realized that I liked those particular shirts and whenever any of them found some of them, they picked them up for me for Christmas or my Birthday, so I ended up with a ton of them in different colors. I've never actually worked with that particular type of fabric before, and as it's slicker and more prone to both fraying and snagging, I'd probably actually need to turn to an expert for both preparation and sewing in order to achieve the desired results without ruining all of them beyond recognition. I also have a similar idea to do the same kind of thing, but with a ton of the dragon t-shirts that I've amassed over the years. It'd be another one of those things I'd have to consult with someone who actually knows what they're doing.

Then, there are the story ideas. I'm trying to make my stray angel quiet and gentle but, so far, he mostly sounds like an idiot. I'll figure out how to fix that, I know, while still preserving the sense of naivete that I want him to have. Seriously, it will not work to put an idiot in with the whacked-out oracle. Somebody will end up dead and, so far, killing them off is NOT part of the plan for the plot.

"Dragon's Lair" the TV Series is now out on DVD. I really, really wish that Warner Brothers was better about announcing this stuff so I could plan appropriately.
