ARrrrrrrgh Computer problems!
My computer decided to start spazzing out spectacularly this week. Fortunately, I have a friend who could take a look at things and get it fixed. So far, things seem to be in good working order.
Horatio's battery is dead again, this time, though, I think that I didn't quite get the door shut, so it ran the battery down.
I kind of wish that computers were a little bit more like cars. With a car, sometimes, when you're really frustrated, you can beat on certain parts of the car and sometimes, with certain problems, this can actually fix them (like, say an issue with the solenoid or the starter) or wiggle things (like the battery cable). There is no good place to beat on your computer. None at all. I find that sort of vaguely disappointing, really. Maybe all computers should start coming with a "smack pad" so you can at least get slightly less grumpy with it.
