I've gotten a bunch of stuff done that I'd wanted to, including writing a new review for Mercedes Lackey's lastest book, which I actually really enjoyed.
I haven't managed to get to bed at a decent hour this whole week. I've been writing and doing all kinds of things and it's all amounted to just not sleeping.
New episode of "Supernatural" tomorrow.
Yahoo! News reprinted a report from Nature magazine that they've found fossils from a snake that could grow up to 45 feet long that's related to modern day constrictors. Personally, I think that's both amazing and exiting. It's definitely proving that scientists have been wrong about how large a snake can get.
There is also strong evidence that a supervolcano in Siberia is the cause of the Permian extinction, which rates as one of the worst extinctions in history (about 90% of all species at the time were killed) based on evidence in the fossil and stratigraphic record.
Oh, the geology nerd in me is so very, very happy right now.
