I just found a ____. Now What?
It’s February 7th and I’m Liz Parker. I just found a reason, something more than the mundane go to school, come home, go to work and come home. I found something more, something that makes me more. I don’t know if I can say that I just found it… maybe I just realized what was right in front of me.
We all do that, right? We get so involved with ourselves and with looking for something bigger, more spectacular, anything to give our lives meaning. It’s ironic and somewhat poetic when we look up one day and a veil has been lifted. Something that’s been there all along is suddenly surrounded in a new light.
Is it fate? Is it some higher power guiding us towards the path we should be on? Or is it destiny, a present and future written in the stars long before we ever entered existence? Is it something that was meant to be and would have happened even without tragedy striking and a supernatural salvation in the form of another being lifting the veil?
Everything becomes clearer. The world around you carries a different light and the same shadows you’ve seen your whole life hold a new darkness. Things become scarier and more beautiful at the same time.
