so here i am sitting in a nondescript office building in downtown richmond. i'm staring at a computer screen in a nondescript office with no windows and no human contact except for the phone that occasionally rings.
but whatever. i've been learning about drunk driving legislation all day. who knows what this afternoon will bring?
i'm back in the burg living on braxton. so far, so good. it was virginia's 21st yesterday. good times for everyone.
dc pride is next weekend, so i'll definitely be going. my dad has conveniently moved to crystal city so i'll be having a place to stay. (will is coming along for the ride.)
my job w/ lg kaine is quiet and pleaceful--borderline boring--but it allows me a lot of time to read. i'm reading choke by palahniuk. i just finished the flight of the creative class, freakonomics, and the world is flat. (all non-fiction, socioeconomic books.) it's about time i read something a little more creative and a little less academic.
any recommendations?
