[ Thinking he locked this entry to himself, Gokudera's taken a page or so in his journal and filled it with blank musical staves, and is slowly filling them in with the notes of a song. Every so often he'll stop, softly humming the tune up to where he finished transcribing, and then continue on. ]

That looks like a good song so far.

...I've always known it. I just wanted to write it down, here.

[ a short pause as he thinks it over... ]

Go ahead.

[glyphless]

[A small pause, and the click of a case as Capell pulls out his flute. It's no piano, but he can work with the notes. After a moment of looking over the music, he begins to play the notes that have been transcribed as a flute tune.]

[rossovento]

[ sits back and listens, taking in the sound of the song... and trying not to let nostalgia get to him ]

[Finishes the song after a little while, and lowers his flute.] Hope that was right...

It was really pretty.

...It was fine.

Oh good.

It's nice to see someone else who can write music around here.

I learned to play piano when I was three. It would be embarrassing if I couldn't transcribe by now.
