Summer is almost gone
I talked to the Mama in charge of the toddlers at the orphanage and she is psyched to start some type of school program with them. I will have to definately start searching to see what type of materials I can find to work on their fine motor skills. Also, seems Mama is interested because she cannot read. It is hitting double... teach the women to read and the kids their alphabet. (luckily I have the teaching materials for the easy things like letters and animals.)
Also, looks like I will be kicking off a Seminar on teaching English with the Bible. It is an interesting propositing since the seminar will be open to all religions and I am very likely to attract several Muslim students. Yeah!
Tonight is a Yam Pile fest followed by Swiss Independence day. Can't beat that right? Im hoping the upcoming weeks will be filled with smiles like this last week has been... only now if I could contact my family (who forgot my birthday again.)
