Sunday drivel
Sketches and an attempt at slash art ahead...and maybe what I made at pottery at the end lol. Have to leave the best 'til last *huge guffaws of sarcastic laughter*.
First of all a present for someone on my flist who writes teh hot retail porn that brightens my Sunday morning lunchtime:
gregoria44 . One of them I'm happy with, the others not so much, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right? I'm keeping Sawyer for later :)
Next up, which I'm not too impressed with, but at least I'm getting better at the outline thing. A bit of slashy pastel:
And as promised, the highlight of your viewing pleasure, the pottery. *groans and peers from behind fingers*
The one I like:
The one where I hate that the brown is so bloomin' dark. It wasn't dark before it got put in the kiln:
And the remnants of the castle, also with an attack of the way-too-dark brown. Friend and I were discussing yesterday what we disliked about the pottery classes, and it's the glazes. It's apparently the 'fun' thing about it - the colour you put on is not necessarily the colour that will come out:
