Squee Alert! I won something!!!
I didn't tell you guys, but three of my fics were nominated in different categories by the amazing folk over on The Quidditch Pitch for featured stories of the month in October. And one of them won!!!! I am so unbelievably shocked, and chuffed, and I apologise for all the bounciness but I've never won anything before. And those that know me know I am horrendously insecure about my writing - I pretty much think it's crap most of the time - so this... this is unbelievable. There are some amazing writers over on that site!
So, as I'm not sure where else to do this, *clears throat* I just want to say thank you to my wondrous betas mayalaen, and I have to say a huge thank you to oldenuf2nb for heckling me over to the site (you were right, it rocks). And to Morven (who listens to me rambling on about this crap all the time and pretends to care). And, of course, a thank you to everyone who nominated me - and voted. YAY!
And I'd also like to thank the person who sat two rows behind me in High School chemistry, he had nice glasses; I'd like to thank the bloke I saw walking past my work the other day, he looked vaguely grumpy; I'd also like to thank Jensen Ackles, just for being hot; and..er..the cat in the kitchen, who has just miaowed...and...er...*sob* the woman in Tesco's, because without her throwing things down the conveyor belt, my eggs would remain unbroken *sniffle*...and the person that makes Hobnobs...
