Primeval fanart-ish
Started off as one of the 'in an hour' things and then I lost track of time, so...
...Ryan, or technically Mark Wakeling. It's not there. Not quite. Suspect it's 'cause I'm not being confident enough with shadows, but I'm wary of making it muddy. Sigh. Will try this one again another time because he does have a spectactularly charismatic face for drawing. Didn't help that I got the spacing of the eye wrong at the start and didn't notice until quite far along. Anyhoo, enough excuses. Posting some 'in progress' pics, but like I say, I wasn't paying attention to the clock so probably more like two hours or so.

A wee while later, with the eye completely in the wrong place:
And admitting defeat - like last time, the sky is a bit grey outside so in real life the colours in this are more vivid:
I like this as a portrait, just not as a portrait of Mark *g*.
