"Mind if we stop off? Need to nip in to my house and it's on our way."
"Why?"
"Got to let the dog out."
"You've got a dog?" Stephen didn't know why he was surprised.
"Yeah."
"Fine, as long as you make me a strong coffee."
"Only kind I make." Ryan half smiled. "Play your cards right, you might even get a biscuit."
The dog was ecstatic.
