I promise the last entry I made was not a slam to anyone, it was more a dedication to those people who have found a place in my heart forever. I love you guys! Last week was a...weird week. I don't know why. I wasn't in a bad mood, just a different one. Haha.

So it's...Tuesday? Yeah, that's right. I can never remember anymore. I had so much fun this weekend. I actually didn't make it to the River Friday night (shocking, I know) because Friday was SUCH a long day at Southern Hills and I was so worn out it was ridiculous. So Kristen got here and we just sorta hung out at the apartment all night after shopping for Marisa's wedding shower, which was Saturday. It was actually a wedding TEA, which was really cute, and we learned stuff about tea and drank tea (or punch) and there was a cake shaped like a tea pot. It was really nice. Weddings are fun, I hope to have one someday. Oh on that same tangent...I decided today that I have to work with kids whatever I do for the rest of my life, and whoever I marry must also love kids. And we'll play with kids together. It's like that movie "Must Love Dogs" except "Must Love Kids" and not a movie but real life. Yeah...

Saturday night was a blast times ten. We went to Camp Teepeetonka here in Sioux falls for Dusty and Allison's going away party. They're going to China for a year! Insane, right? But awesome, they're gonna bring people to Christ! So we went and grilled and stuff at the camp and then we got to go on a tour. Amy and Amanda are directors at the camp, so they gave us the whole schpeel. It's such a cool camp, like a little bit of wilderness right in the middle of Sioux Falls. So anyway, part of the tour was doing stuff campers do...including zipping across the river on a zipline and building a bridge using planks and balancing across the river to get back from the island. We also walked on narrow trails in the dark and climbed over this rope thingy...it was so fun! Out of my comfort zone a bit, but really great. Those people are so fun, I enjoy them a lot.

So the rest of the weekend was lumpish...I watched like three movies on Sunday after we went to the early service at church. Work at SH was fine yesterday, I missed out on skating because I had to go work at Augie. Then I went to the softball games, both of which the River team won, and then to Ruby Tuesday's for a final goodbye with Dusty and Allison. They are going to be missed a lot. It was all good times.

I really really really really really really want to go to Ankeny. I miss my Maddy and my Emily and my Martin. I was supposed to go this weekend, but I decided it was probably too long to drive by myself in two days, cuz I won't drive at night by myself so I couldn't leave Friday. Blah. I guess I'll go to Luverne instead. My parents will be back from San Diego Friday sometime.

In conclusion (haha remember papers that you actually had to end papers like that?) I don't know if I ever announced the three new babies in my family. A few weeks ago my cousin Katie had a daughter, Aubrea Carol. Three days after that my aunt and uncle had a daughter, Sophia Margaret. And last week my cousin Nate and his wife had a son, Lucas Michael. They are all BEAUTIFUL babies, and prayers for them are always appreciated. Babies are absolute miracles, you know that? I look at a baby and everything I believe just makes sense and I'm in awe. Yay. Okay, good night!!!
