Summer Days
Guess it's about time for a real update on this thing! I feel like all I do is sit around and use the computer and I never quite make it to updating. :)
I have really enjoyed this summer. I kicked it off by going to the Baptist Church Music Conference with the First Baptist Orchestra. It's so nice to play with them again! I had forgotten how much I missed it. The other euphonium player is my mentor---she's one of the most amazing people I know, and I just love getting to spend time with her. Survived Organic I...and now I'm kicking off Organic II. I can't WAIT to be done with all of this!
Had a good birthday---got to spend time with the family and Perry made me a delicious dinner of Cornish game hen, roasted poatatoes, asparagus and chocolate souffle! Thought being 21 would be so exciting, but overall, not so much really.
I really actually think I'm starting to figure out a few things. All I can say is it's about time! It really does get old always struggling to tie loose ends together and figure out what's going on in my life.
I have one more official week of summer, which will mostly be spent at the orchestra library and getting things ready for Band Camp. Then I kick off 2 weeks at Spain Park!! :) I'm so excited about getting to work with my kids again! They're just the sweetest things and it's always so much fun. But that means I'll be in class from 9-11 and working from 1-9. :) I enjoy staying busy.
I was INCREDIBLY surprised by someone the other day. Who knew people could change so quickly?!
I thought there was more going on but I guess not...I'll keep trying to update for those who might be bored and scanning all these entries. :)
