I'm still here!
I'm now in Scotland, watching a travel show in which Billy Connelly is prospecting for gold. He could have been born for it, it's marvelous!
I left France yesterday, and am now visiting the marvelous Kate in Scotland, which I am enjoying immensely. I know I have been silent hereon, but updates continue to appear here, on a semi-regular basis:

France was great, Scotland is peachy, and I'm intently looking forward to Spain! And it now seems that Ireland is going to be added to the itinerary before I return to the States in June (I HAVE bought plane tickets, thankyouverymuch). I need to figure out those plane tickets in the next few days, hoo boy. But even this is very exciting.
I am sincerely happy in what I'm doing. And I'm lucky enough to have had such a year past that I can deeply appreciate that. Isn't that marvelous and treacherous, hope-inspiring and terrible, the way things have of coming in a circle?
Oh dear. Billy Connelly is now moose hunting. I'm concerned.
