I just popped over to the BU's Scientific Instrument Construction facility. There's a secret world down there, let me tell you! Amazing! I felt rather silly with the very simple little design for an instrument deployment device our research group needs for our field data collection. Those guys were building satellites! The walls were covered with designs of various rockets and space stuff. So neat! And to top off my amazement, they were super nice to me, even though I don't speak their jargon. I'm their new biggest fan!
