hello, friends. i hope you are all well as i have not talked to much of anyone in the past forever, aside from matt and becca.
minneapolis was wonderful. i want to move there right now! alas, i cannot. we are going to have to wait until james can get his gpa up enough to transfer to the university of minnesota. i hope he can do it quickly. he's doing quite well in his classes so far, so maybe sooner than later.
it's really weird, but i felt so at home and cozy there. so when we got back home, i felt like a visitor here. i have been walking around in this weird daze, wondering why in the world i am still here when i obviously belong elsewhere. i definitely won't work at starbucks anymore once we move. there are just to many marvelous little independant shops there for me to continue on in my little corporate coffee place. here there is nothing. there is starbucks. that is all. blah. i got so spoiled while we were gone!
and ani and margaret cho were completely amazing!!! i am so happy that i finally got to see ani live. they were registering people to vote there, matt and becca got registered. look out bush! ani fans don't like you much!
and rachael, not to worry. 9 hours is not that bad of a drive. the 15 hour trip wasn't near as terrible as i thought it would be. i actually had a lot of fun, though my legs got rather pissy with me after so much time in the car. i'm sorry i haven't called you..please try not to take offense to my weird anti-social phases. i really didn't mean to upset you. i was just moping. i was hoping to call you this evening.
so i'm stressing out about getting my voter's registration crap in on time. i basically have to do it on the last day, because i found out recently that i have to go to the d.p.s. and change my address before i can register. sucktastic. i wish they were open on weekends. i'll just have to go monday and pray no craziness ensues.
i want more tattoos. bad. the end.
