Last night, it was so beautiful outside. I went to sleep with the window open, the cool air of the Shomron trickling gently into the bedroom.
Then this morning I wake up to UGH.
Sometime during the night, a sha'arav (hot wind, in Hebrew) blew in from the East, and today has just been gross. WHY the HELL is it 91 degrees at the end of October?! The brush in the wadi (dry riverbed in a valley) even caught fire and is now crackling happily away. At least the wind is blowing the smoke AWAY from our house.
Anyway, thought this would be a good chance to show you all where I live. This is the view from my back yard.
