Ragusa is an immensely hilly region, even mountainous in parts, hence the spectacular bridges:
The new city of Ragusa is built on two sides of a ravine, making bridges essential for getting across the city. I'm standing on a third bridge to take a picture of these two:
Modica again: a gorgeous splash of colour:
And I'd never seen a bouganvillea before with flowers in this pretty shade of pale pink :
